Здравствуйте. Опять же посылаю на http://www.dataplus.ru, где есть намера журнала ArcReview. В этом журнале в том числе описываются сферы применения ГИС.
Спасибо, конечно, но не нужно меня посылать на страницы данного журнала, меня интересуют не сферы применения, а конкретная инфа по использованию ГИС в банковской сфере. В ArcReview описываются всего пару примеров, и то очень поверхностно.

А есть что-нибудь по созданию программ для просмотра электронных векторых карт. В частности интересуют оптимальные алгоритмы и структуры хранения данных. Т.е. в каком виде объекты карты хранятся в памяти программы, как организуется разибение на уровни, как правильно разбить карту рекурсивно на кавадраты, на ограничивающие прямоугольники, и т.д.
