This standard is Part 1 in a series on the safety of playground equipment and surfacing. The series was developed to provide EU harmonized safety benchmarks for children’s playground equipment. The objective is to allow children of differing abilities and ages as many exciting play opportunities as possible, with as much safety as necessary.
