This document refers to filtering devices designed for protection against carbon monoxide (filter self-rescuer). It specifies minimum requirements for filter self-rescuers. This document does not apply to apparatus for work and rescue or do diving apparatus. Laboratury and practical performance tests are included for the assessment of compliance with the requirements.
