NFPA 1006:2013 Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). 2013 Edition. It was issued by the Standards Council on November 27, 2012, with an effective date of December 17, 2012, and supersedes all previous editions. This edition of NFPA 1006 was approved as an American National Standard on December 17, 2012. 118 p. This standard establishes the minimum job performance requirements necessary for fire service and other emergency response personnel who perform technical rescue operations. The purpose of this standard is to specify the minimum job performance requirements for service as a rescuer in an emergency response organization. It is not the intent of this standard to restrict any jurisdiction from exceeding these minimum requirements.
