The last five listed are companions to PROC MEANS, PROC FREQ, PROC REG, PROC LOGISTIC, and PROC PHREG, respectively. As will be explained in great detail over the course of this book, you should use one of the SURVEY procedures when analyzing data from a complex survey design. Using one of the non-SURVEY procedures opens the door to making false inferences due to biased point estimates, biased measures of variability, or both.
