The pamphlet, which my young associates refer to jokingly as “The Bible” (no blasphemy intended), has been updated periodically at irregular intervals and is still in use. Over the years it has developed into a compilation of useful bits and pieces of information not typically found in textbooks or manuals and has been highly valued by my young colleagues. They tell me that most of the information found in the pamphlet would be hard to come across other than by personal interaction with more senior colleagues who are willing to share.
