NFPA 326 - 2005 Standard for the Safeguarding of Tanks and Containers for Entry, Cleaning, or Repair

This edition of NFPA 326 was approved as an American National Standard on February 7, 2005. 34 р. This standard shall apply to the safeguarding of tanks or containers, operating at nominal atmospheric pressure, that contain or have contained flammable and combustible liquids or other hazardous substances and related vapors or residues.
This standard shall not apply to tank vehicles or tank cars; tanks, bunkers, or
compartments on ships or barges or in a shipyard; gas plant equipment or gas distribution systems for natural or manufactured gas; or compressed and liquefied gas cylinders.
