This book has been written to provide instructors with material on important topics in probability and statistics so that they may be included in introductory courses. In addition, it provides instructors with examples that go beyond those commonly used. These examples have been developed from author's long experience with students and with teachers in teacher enrichment programs. It is hoped that these examples will be of interest in themselves, thus increasing student motivation in the subjects and providing topics students can investigate in individual projects.
